TUI BLUE Curaçao was founded with a simple goal: to provide a modern all-inclusive resort experience in one of Curaçao’s most beautiful and peaceful locations.

TUI BLUE Curaçao is built on the site of a former resort. Our resort in Groot Santa Martha combines modern comfort, friendly service, and the special charm of Curaçao’s western side. Guests can enjoy the island’s beauty while staying in a place that feels truly connected to its surroundings, with sea views and open spaces, plus local touches throughout their stay.

As part of the TUI BLUE collection, our resort follows a philosophy of authentic travel, quality hospitality, and the creation of memorable experiences. We aim to make every stay feel easy, welcoming, and closely connected to Curaçao.

TUI BLUE Curaçao is built on the site of a former resort, allowing us to use an established location. During the development phase, care was taken to work thoughtfully within the existing environment, including protecting the shoreline and surrounding marine areas.

We support sustainability through responsible water management with an on-site treatment system, recycling initiatives, electric vehicle charging stations, and energy-conscious operations. Where possible, repurposed materials were used during construction.

We also aim to reduce single-use plastics and limit printed materials by replacing them with digital alternatives where possible.



Sustainability for us is an ongoing process. It’s about continuously making better choices in how we build, run the resort, and welcome guests. We want every stay at TUI BLUE Curaçao to be relaxing, memorable, and connected to the island’s future.

Environmental Impact

• Protecting the shoreline and the surrounding marine environment throughout the development and operation of the resort.
• Raised beach platform protected by a rock revetment and geotextile filter layers to reduce sand migration.
• Solar energy systems are in place, with the ambition of becoming a 100% solar-powered resort in the near future.
• Solar-powered water heating systems to reduce overall energy consumption.
• Energy-conscious technologies and day-to-day operational practices are designed to minimize our environmental impact.

Water Conservation & Recycling

• Responsible water management through advanced on-site water treatment systems designed to conserve this valuable natural resource.
• All greywater and blackwater are fully treated and recycled, helping to reduce freshwater consumption across the resort.
• Complimentary filtered water refill stations are available throughout the resort, and every guest receives a reusable water bottle to help reduce plastic waste.
• Reduce single-use plastics by replacing disposable items with more sustainable alternatives wherever possible.
• Minimizing printed materials through digital solutions.
• Repurposing and reusing materials wherever possible, supporting a more circular approach to resort operations.
  

Sustainable Partnerships

• Partnership with the Reef Renewal Foundation to support coral restoration.
• Surplus recycled irrigation water is donated to local farmers, helping conserve freshwater resources while supporting local agriculture.
• Byproducts from our water treatment process are converted into fertilizer pellets and donated to local farmers to improve soil health and reduce waste.
• Food waste is collected and donated to local pig farmers, contributing to a more circular local food system.
• Edible herbs, papayas, and bananas grown in our own gardens are incorporated into our culinary offerings whenever possible, promoting fresh, locally grown ingredients.
• Preference for sourcing from local farmers, fishermen, and suppliers.
