We would like to inform you that we are currently working closely with the TUI Group, the construction company, and MACE Consultancy, our external construction and project advisor, to carefully evaluate the current construction progress of TUI BLUE Curaçao.

Together, we are reviewing which areas and facilities are expected to be completed as planned, and which parts may require additional time. This process is important to ensure that we can provide you with a clear, accurate, and honest update.

At this moment, we are not yet able to share a final conclusion. However, we expect to provide more information next week regarding any possible changes to the opening date and what this may mean for your stay.

Please rest assured that we are treating this matter with the utmost care and attention. As soon as we have more clarity, we will inform you immediately. Guests who already have a reservation with us will be contacted directly by our reservations team or your travel agent with further information and personal assistance where needed.

Construction is entering its final phase

At the moment, the resort may still look like a construction site because it is in the final construction phase. We have around 300 people working on site daily to complete the resort before the official opening.

As with many new hotel openings, there may still be some finishing touches taking place during the start-up phase. It is also possible that some facilities may still be worked on, may open in phases, or may have adjusted opening times or schedules in the beginning.

Should any facilities not yet be available during your stay, we will do our utmost to offer suitable alternatives where possible. Our team is working hard to make sure the resort is ready to welcome guests in the best possible way. However, if you prefer to arrive when the resort is 100% finished, fully settled, and without any finishing touches, we would advise rebooking for later in the year to avoid any disappointment.

Alternatively, we can assist you in exploring another all-inclusive resort option or offer a discounted stay at our sister hotel, the Avila Beach Hotel. Please let us know your preference, and we will be happy to assist you personally via reservations.curacao@tui-blue.com.

TUI BLUE Curaçao Celebrates Graduation of 80 Team Members Ahead of Opening

TUI BLUE Curaçao celebrated the graduation of 80 newly trained hospitality professionals, marking an important milestone ahead of the resort’s upcoming opening. The graduates successfully completed an intensive one-month paid training program focused on hospitality excellence, guest experience, operational procedures, teamwork, and service standards aligned with the TUI BLUE brand philosophy.

With 90% of the graduates being native Curaçaoan, approximately 40% of the graduating team members came directly from the Bandabou region, reflecting TUI BLUE Curaçao’s commitment to creating employment opportunities and investing in local talent development, particularly within the Bandabou community. The ceremony recognized the achievements of the graduating team members and celebrated the role hospitality training plays in supporting Curaçao’s tourism sector and long-term economic development.

As one of Curaçao’s newest luxury hospitality destinations, TUI BLUE Curaçao is investing in people before officially opening its doors. Through local recruitment and extensive pre-opening training, the resort aims to create sustainable employment opportunities while helping elevate hospitality standards on the island.

If you have an existing reservation, our Reservations team will be happy to discuss the options available to you, including rebooking your stay for a later date where applicable. If you are considering postponing your visit but have already booked flights or made other travel arrangements that cannot be changed, we may also be able to offer a special discounted stay at our sister property, Avila Beach Hotel.

Please note that Avila Beach Hotel is not an all-inclusive resort.

As construction continues, we've moved into the next exciting phase: bringing our rooms to life. Each room is being thoughtfully furnished with stylish decor, carefully selected by our design team to offer you nothing but the best.

Our pre-grand opening special for August is now fully booked, and we look forward to welcoming guests from September onwards. We hope to welcome you among them. It's not just our rooms receiving extra attention this month; Thea's Reserve is taking shape beautifully as well. We couldn't wait to share a sneak peek of this breathtaking view here with you.
